Recently I have become the Secretary of the Northamptonshire Association of the Blind, having previously been a committee member for only 5 months. Locally known as The VIP Club (Visually Impared Persons) to our very special members! I have had the honour of organising the Summer Lunch whilst our Chairman Barbara Brogden has been on holiday. 35 invitations were given to the members, the drivers and helpers, as this special lunch is to thank the members for the fun and friendship that they give us. It is also to express our great thanks for their friendship and hard work that the drivers and helpers give so generously.
We have a great time at our Monday monthly meetings with lots of chatting and an interesting speaker. Afterwards its the most delicious afternoon tea of delicate sandwiches and the most scrumptious homemade scones and cakes. We sure know how to live!

Sunday 17th June 2007 Prince's Trust Clay Shoot / Country Fair at Courteenhall Estate Courteenhall
The Shires Group of Holistic Practitioners and myself would like to welcome you to the Princes Trust Clay Shoot / Country Fair at Courteenhall Estate. We will be giving taster sessions and help and advice re: therapies available in Northamptonshire.
Agate Therapies will be giving taster sessions of Reflexology and any help and advice re: Therapeutic Aromatherapy Massage, Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi-Earcandles). Discounts will be given for treatments in the Therapy Room at Milton Malsor, Northants.
The venue for the Prince's Trust Clay Shoot / Country fair is stunning. The gounds are magnificent. Sit by the pretty fish pond and watch the snap dragons, after enjoying all the fun of the fair. The Clay Shoot is very popular, so this will be a very interesting Event.

Monday 11 June 2007 Talk Tinnitus Group Kingsthorpe
Pauline Alcock has kindly invited me to give a talk at this meeting of the Tinnitus Group to be held at the Baptist Rooms, Kingsthorpe, Northampton (behind Waitrose Supermarket, which has lots of parking). The meeting starts at 19.00. I am sure Pauline would be delighted to have any non member attend this meeting. Summer is coming.... It is going to be a busy time for Agate Therapies!
June 02 Milton Malsor Fun Day. The committee have kindly invited Agate Therapies to attend the Fun Day to show the locals the Therapies avaliable in our lovely village. Loretta will be giving FREE taster sessions of Reflexology and showing the other therapies, which can be experienced at a later date in the comfort of her Therapy Room. Discounts will be given for treatments given later.
The Fun Day is full of events for the children to experience. A Barn Dance and Hog Roast with salad etc will be the entertainment in the evening. The cost for the Barn Dance & is only £15.00. Well done to the Friends of Milton School for raising just over £2000.00 at their recent Promise Action! The money raised will be going towards the new outdoor classroom due to be constructed in the Spring / Summer 2007. Agate Therapies gladly donated a Reflexology Treatment, a Therapeutic Maggage & a Thermo Auricular Treatment(Hopi Earcandles) as "lots" to help raise funds. Linda Francis of Milton Schoool sent a lovely letter of thanks.
